After conducting research, Allstate’s corporate relations team learned that millenials perceive insurance as a boring career. In order to break through the recruiting clutter, we brainstormed unique, visual ways to reach our target audiences throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma and Utah.
Our human resources and sales teams regularly attend local networking events to discuss Allstate’s agency ownership opportunity. Because these events are loud and hard to hear people, we brainstormed visual ways to attract entrepreneurs.
Many of our agents are triathletes, teachers, parents and former members of the military. These are extremely visual hobbies, which hit a home run at recruiting events. This video was sent around the country internally and was our first attempt at lifestyle marketing to future agents.
Recruiting Event Collateral
At university alumni and professional networking events, we paired giveaways with the Own Your Own Lifestyle video at our booths to attract candidates to the Allstate opportunity. I produced these physical collateral pieces and the lifestyle giveaways, including a golf package and Amazon Kindle.
