After 15 years, an andHow radio intern mentioned it was time for a new website. 1998 was a completely different time for websites, the internet and communication. I was tasked with modernizing their website, brand and creating an experience that made the wait worthwhile.
I created a website that provided the same experience for both the internet radio community, and FM radio community – two completely different mindsets. andHow needed a digital facelift, and new ways to communicate with its loyal listeners.

Unique design challenge.
When andHow launched its first site, designing for multiple types devices was never a question. 15 years later, it’s the complete opposite story. For an indie radio station, I thought of the best way to reach its worldwide audience that tunes in both online and in the car.
During brainstorming, I discovered many of its listeners use iPads. We decided to create a visual way to display the various radio DJs and provide a truly engaging experience.
